I need a new routine. My usual routine is to workout when I get home from work. Lately I’ve been leaning toward getting up earlier and working out then. This would save me time in the evenings and give me some peace of mind that I have already done something at least! I’d like to do strength training in the mornings and leave the cardio sessions in the evenings.
There is a fundamental problem with this strategy: I absolutely, unequivocally HATE getting up in the morning!! Especially if it’s early. The only time I don’t have trouble getting up is when I know I’ll be seeing Michael Shanks (I had no trouble getting up at 6:30 for the LFCC!) or we are travelling.
I’ll have to come up with some way to lure myself out of bed early to exercise…
