It’s very easy for me to not stick to a routine. I’m the queen of excuses, my most loved excuse being “I’m too tired.” And it’s always true, I’m pretty much always too tired to do the things I don’t want to do.

Take this past week for instance. I’ve been crap at exercising, but I did keep up with my runs. The fact that I’m doing a 5k in July helped with that. But I didn’t do a whole lot of anything else. I have loads of excuses, but that’s just what they are – excuses.

This week I’m not letting excuses get in the way of my work outs. I’m going to take it one day at a time and get something in each day, even if it’s just a walk to the shop and back.

But for now? It’s bedtime. If I manage to sleep well tonight I’ll get up in the AM and do a workout before work.

Tomorrow will either be a good day or a bad day. I’ll find out at 9am.
