I really hope this weather lasts the weekend!

Hubby went back to work today (thankfully (sorry!)). It puts me off when he’s home when I come home and I never do what I intend when he’s there. It’s a true miracle I managed to run Monday night with him there, I think that was the first time I’ve done it while he’s been home!

Although I had intended to workout last night I ended up going to the shop to pick up a few last minute bits for dinner instead! Then facebooking before cooking so we didn’t end up eating until about 8pm! We had lovely mexican, my own creation which hubby calls “mexican mess.” It’s lovely! I felt really full afterward and all night, but I think most of that is due to bloating and cramps and not the food.

I’ve been quite good this week scale-wise, I haven’t weighed myself since Friday! Tonight I need to do a really good workout, so it’ll be 45 minutes of strength training then my 30 minutes on the treadmill. At least I’m running over half of that time now!! Next Friday I think I have to run for 20 minutes straight, that is my next barrier, mentally. Like I did with 5 minutes before, I keep trying to tell myself I can’t do it. I’ll just have to prove myself wrong, again!

We were supposed to go to my brother-in-law’s this weekend to finally meet our nephew, but I’m not sure we will. Hubby is still a bit poorly and I know he just wants to rest and with me coughing a little bit still, too, there’s a good possibility we might get them sick! So I think we might stay home and just rest. It’ll be nice to get some stuff done around the house and then be a geeky chica for a weekend! (And I need to update my Project 365 posts!)

I really do hope the weather stays, I want a BBQ!
