Life is what happens to you while you’re busy making other plans

Life has been happening lately. So much so that I zoomed past my 3 month post-op milestone and didn’t notice until after it had happened that it’d been that long! I’m still doing awesome, no problems and nothing new to report on that front!

We went to Palma last month. It. Was. Amazing. We had a great time walking all over the place and seeing the city, eating yummy tapas, drinking wine (beer for the hubby) and coffee and just enjoying the glorious sunshine.

Work has been crazy busy, so busy that sometimes I look at all the stuff I have going on and go ‘what am I supposed to be doing again?’ I miss having my Fridays off, it was really nice having that extra day to myself to sort out life admin and just chill but I’m back to proper full time now and well into the swing of it all.

I’ve been spending time with friends and family and it’s been really nice to be able to do that and not worry so much about medications or feeling like crap (other than being tired from all the fun I’ve been having anyway)! I’ve even planned in a weekend with zero plans, because I know I’ll need it.

We’ve been plodding along with our 90 Day SSS Plan. Poor hubby has been sick the last week so he hasn’t tried the Cycle 2 work outs yet, but I *LOVE* them! Weight circuits then a little bit of HIIT. I love weight training, it’s so much more fun for me, and I can always feel when I’ve worked everything properly which is a really nice feeling. And the meals this cycle are a bit more fun – nachos, yassss!

But mainly, I’m just starting to settle back into my normal routine and take care of myself. It’s been a pretty great almost 4 months and there are some fun things in store this year to continue celebrating our life.
