This weekend I had no plans for what felt like the first time in months. In reality it’s only been about 3 weeks, but they’ve been a busy few weeks! With nothing planned I was able to take time on Saturday to tidy the house and relax a bit.
Something about having all the clean washing put away properly just makes everything better, doesn’t it?
Today was a different story. We wanted to go try a new place in Trowbridge, Dean’s Diner – an American 50’s style diner – but we weren’t in the mood so postponed.
The one meeting we had was to go to the sales office for the new house and discuss wardrobes and sign off all of our options. The sales woman is always commenting on how quickly we (read: I) make decisions! Considering we are only have wardrobes put in two bedrooms it wasn’t that hard to decide.
I also double checked all the flooring was okay… again. And of course Hubby added some more to the list for our wall mounted TV points. It’s all done and dusted now, and totals up to just over £20,300…
I have a Pinterest board with all the options included, if you’re interested/nosy/curious about what we will be getting.
After signing all our money away we decided to try out the only pub in the town, conveniently located directly across the road and have some lunch. The food was good at least!
Once back home I had things in mind to do, but wasn’t in the mood for any of it! So I put myself to bed. My 90 minute nap was amazing and once awake I easily made my menu for the week whilst cooking dinner, something I couldn’t for the life of me do prior to my nap.
So well-rested and now fed I was able to knock out my meal plan for the week and my workouts.
Now that I finally feel settled and have gotten over the stress of the move, I can start planning properly and following the 21 Day Fix again!
So this week will consist of getting back into proper portion control and regular exercise!
Here’s to a great week everyone!
