Going back to work is always hard after time off, this past week was no exception! I think I did things in the right order this time, thankfully. So I’m still on track with everything!
I started Insanity just after New Year and I’m in the middle of week 2 now. My rest day is Friday, which I’m loving, but not used to not having Sunday off! I’ve persevered this weekend though and haven’t skipped any! I’m at the point where I’m starting to do a bit more with each work out and noticing the difference of it being just that tiny bit easier. That’s always really motivating.
I made homemade granola last week which I’m still working through. Making a massive batch at a time is so easy and lasts a few weeks. It’s perfect for mornings when I can’t be bothered to cook breakfast or for a snack!
We still have loads of chocolate and sweets from Christmas but we aren’t going through it very fast, which is good!
I have been craving nachos for a few days, though. So made some this weekend, topped with turkey and salad (lettuce, tomato, onion). I grilled them to melt the cheese, so yummy! And lots of veggies, so somewhat healthy.
Off to roast a turkey crown now for dinner! I also need to prepare mentally for Sherlock tonight. Can’t believe we only get 3 episodes for Series 3 and it’s already over tonight. At least I have Game of Thrones back soon…
