Back to the Grind

It’s back to work for me tomorrow. While I’m looking forward to it, I’m also not. I do enjoy not working! ๐Ÿ™‚ But we have to work in order to enjoy our time off more?

I’m all ready and packed for Belfast and that in itself has tired me out! Getting up tomorrow will be a struggle, let alone the flight to Belfast. Maybe I can go to bed early when we get there.

As today may be the last time Hubby and I see each other for the week, I insisted we go out and spend some time together away from the telly and computers. Poor Hubby has a busy week ahead of him and if he feels the need will be staying near work so he doesn’t have to travel home each night. So we went to Bath and had a lovely (as always) meal at Las Iguanas. It’s my favourite restaurant, Latin American food, so I can totally get my Mexican fix.

Normally every time we go there my eyes are way bigger than my belly as I peruse the menu and see all the things I want now now now! I managed to resist the urge to have as much as possible today and was sensible. After about a half hour of Hubby and I bickering over whether to have Tapas or not, I decided no. It’s always too much when we do it.

I ended up with a chicken quesadilla starter and then sweet potato fishcakes with fries and salad. And a side of refried black beans (my absolute favourite thing they serve).

I was so excited by the meal I forgot a photo of the quesadilla and had eaten half a fishcake before taking photos! ๐Ÿ™‚ I was full after eating, but not stuffed and uncomfortable like we normally end up after eating there. I totally see that as a win over my Las Iguanas obsession. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I hope you all have a great week!
