Dad is doing OK! He’s in Hawaii very bored sat in his hospital bed waiting for swelling to go down so they can start operating. They are going to repair his leg not cut it off, which is good news. He will still have a hard time walking for a loooong time though!

My dad climbed a pipe and jumped over a fence. Then he had to be flown from the tiny island in the Indian Ocean to Japan for operations because he broke his leg!! Then he had to be flown from Japan to Hawaii for the rest of the operations and therapy that will be needed. [...]

Last year at the end of May I did a drastic, drastic thing. I cut my hair.
