What Will You Make 2010?

We are still in the US, currently in Maine with my dad and family. Last night we rang in 2010 at our hotel’s New Year party. It was a blast and I’m really glad we came up to see everyone for it. We are currently in the middle of a snow storm, but our area is only expecting about a foot before it moves on Sunday. It’s really pretty but it is just a bit too cold for me!

Normally I look back at the previous year and what I did or did not accomplish and decide what I’d like the next year to be based on that. Not this year! 2009 wasn’t bad, there weren’t any huge challenges or occasions that I can think of. For 2010 I want to focus on driving myself forward and living the kind of life I want to live. This covers every aspect of my life: health, love, home, work and social.

Some changes I would like to implement in the next year are:

Eating more fruit and veg, incorporating more organic and locally grown veggies and fruit into our diet.

Spending more time being active and outside during weekends and time off.

More regular exercise, finding a goal I can work towards that will challenge my fitness abilities in some way.

Spending more time with family and friends and making sure we keep our connections with the people we love.

I want to try something new each month. I need to think of what things I would like to try, they will be things that scare me, challenge me and make me grow as a person.

I also want to focus on spending time with my husband and making sure he doesn’t let work or other stresses get in the way of what is really important.

I hope everyone has amazing goals for 2010 and that we all bring about positive change for the year ahead.

Happy New Year!
